Overview
The Core at Corby Cube aims to be accessible and welcoming to all. We are committed to making your visit as easy and enjoyable as possible. We have dedicated spaces for wheelchairs, available together with adjacent seats in the auditoria for companions or carers. Please contact us in advance to make arrangements to secure these seats. Parking for Blue Badge holders is available adjacent to Corby Cube. Guide Dogs are welcome. There is an induction loop in all performance spaces. There are adapted toilet facilities available on all levels and lifts to all floors. Please mention when booking if you require an aisle seat, extra leg room, a seat near the front or if there are any other access requirements. Our Ticket Office staff will be able to advise you of the best seat for you. Please note that strobe lighting, smoke effects and gunshots are sometimes used in performances. Details are available from the Ticket Office on 01536 470 470. The nearest disabled car parking space is in the car park right next door to Corby Cube and East Midlands International Swimming Pool. This is a pay and display car park. Charges are applicable Mondays to Saturdays, as follows: 20p evening charge (6pm – midnight), 60p – 1-2 hours, £1 – 2-3 hours, £2 up to 4 hours, £10 all day. Parking is free all day Sunday.

Access guidance
- Arrival - You may be asked to queue briefly for security bag checks and ticket scanning. Having your tickets ready and bringing minimal items where possible can help make this process quicker Facilities - At busier times, queues may form for bar services, ice cream tray and toilets Getting To Your Seat - Our stewards will check tickets and guide you to your seat, which may involve a short wait at the auditorium entrance. Exiting - When the performance ends, you may experience short queues as audiences leave the building together. The nearest accessible car parking spaces are in Parkland Greenway and Victoria Place car parks behind the Corby Cube and Savoy Cinemas respectively. We are unable to process wheelchair user and wheelchair transfer bookings online. There are dedicated seats held off sale that can be booked by wheelchair users by contacting our Ticket Office Team. Motorised scooters are allowed in public parts of the building.
- Seating is available throughout our foyers, with chairs and tables in the bar areas. Please speak to the team on arrival if you need support.
- Our Foyers and Bars can become very busy before performances, during the interval and after the show. A Breakout Space is available for relaxed performances. This is a quiet space where you can take a break from the show or busy bar areas and relax. The space has floor cushions, colouring and puzzles.
- Our Gallery has level access from the theatre entrance. There are lifts available to both the Stalls and Circle levels. There is limited level seating access available in the Stalls - please speak to an advisor if you require this, or you require minimal stairs.
- Accessible toilet facilities are available. Baby changing facilities are on both B1 and B2 levels
- Assistance dogs are welcome throughout The Core and water can be provided. Please advise the Ticket Office when booking so that adequate provision can be made.
- Audio Description and Audio Enhancement are available. You will receive a Sennheiser Infra-red Enhanced Hearing System, which has two options. You can choose to hear an enhance version of the sound onstage or you can hear the show visually described, for example, the appearance of the set and the actions of the characters. This hearing system is available from the Ticket Office. To ensure that you purchase tickets in seats with optimum coverage, please check with Ticket Office at time of booking.
- BSL Interpreted Performances The show is interpreted in sign language by someone standing to the side of the stage.
- Relaxed Performances This is a specially adapted performance for customers with a wide range of disabilities and for those on the autistic spectrum. There may be some small changes to the show in terms of lighting and sound but the overall content does not change. There is also a more relaxed atmosphere in the auditorium to reduce anxiety and ensure an enjoyable visit.
