"The Gloworm festival 2018 is the one true family festival, the festival encourages families to play and have fun in a safe environment. Gloworm is the 5-time Uk Festival award nominated, family friendly festival that brings music, art and entertainment to the heart of Sherwood Forest. Here at the Gloworm Festival we believe that Children are the best people in the world, which is why this event is aimed at families with children 0-13. We invite our festival goers to come and play in warm and welcoming environment. We will inspire the imaginations of children big and small with a wealth of entertainment, from live music to workshops, theatre to cooking, every corner they turn will lead to new activities and adventures to be had. Creating memories that will last a life time, and more."

Access guidance

Majority of the site is accessible for wheelchair users, via the paths. However, some grass areas can be difficult to access due to uneven ground.
Due to the environment, there is no 'internal transport' on site
There are accessible toilets on site.
Assistant Dogs are welcome at the festival, but the owner must contact the festival beforehand and show the Dog's ID.
Access Card holders with a '+1' on their card are entitled to take an essential companion with them free of charge.
Strobe lighting and other features are used at the festival.
