Kubix Festival

Overview
It is very important to the organisers, that we ensure that the event is accessible as possible, to everyone, and all aspects of accessibility are reviewed regularly, to ensure improvements can be made, where required, on an ongoing basis. This includes the availability of accessible disabled parking, wheelchair access and disabled toilets in a secure stewarded area, a wheelchair viewing platform for the main stage and a festival site that utilises hard standing routes, where practicable, to make the event as accessible as possible for wheelchair users. We strive to do all we can to make Kubix Festival as accessible as possible. As with any outdoor event, weather conditions and uneven ground in parts, on a grassed site, need to be taken into consideration, when using a wheelchair or mobility scooter, and for wet weather conditions, suitable clothing, footwear, etc, is recommended. There will also be a dedicated main stage viewing area for wheelchair users to view the event, though it does have a limited capacity and will be on a first come, first served basis, exclusively for wheelchair users and one companion. To obtain access to these facilities, you will need to contact our team via the Contact Page to ask for an Accessibility Questionnaire which is used to help determine exactly which areas are needed to enhance your experience. Any person with additional needs who requires a free ticket for a carer or assistant, can email Kubix Festival via our Contact Page or at info@kubixfestival.co.uk where we will make provision for this directly.

- We provide a separate entrance for guest with accessible needs which is wider to enable wheelchair and motorised wheelchair access. We also provide a wheelchair viewing platform where one PA/Carer can accompany the guest.
- We have a disabled campsite which is positioned close to the arena entrance. The separate accessibility entrance and staff are happy to help if required to explain the quickest way to access an area of the festival site.
- We have quick access toilets and wheelchair accessible toilets within the accessible campsite and in the main arena. The arena toilets are monitored to ensure they are available for the guests who need them.
- Assistance dogs are welcome, and we have waterpoints available at multiple points across the arena and campsites.
- We offer free companion tickets for our guests that require extra support we do ask for evidence with the Access Card being our preferred why to explain your exact accessibility needs.
- We offer verbal support for our guests with visual needs.
- We would adjust our speaking speed for those who lip read and provide a pen and paper so our guest can write down any requests.
