Access guidance
- Activity programmes need to be pre-booked in advance and are set at a sufficient ratio of instructors:attendees based on needs of the individuals involved so there would be no queuing process.
- The site is across 25 acres but activities are within smaller set areas within this and if distance was a problem, activities could be chosen based on their proximity to one another and we also have pedal buggies if someone wanted to use these to access different areas of the site.
- There are multiple toilet facilities across the site including in the sports hall near to some of the outdoor activities, there is also a Changing Places facility on-site. Individuals are advised to talk through any concerns with an instructor before activities commence, such as where the nearest toilets are - all of our instructors are highly experienced in supporting people with additional needs
- There are plenty of grassed areas for toileting to be picked up and we do only allow assistance dogs on-site, a water bowl can be arranged if we are advised when booking that this is required.
