- There is a passenger drop-off point immediately in front of The Lowry. The primary disabled parking facility for The Lowry is The Lowry Outlet Mall car park. The Lowry does offer two dedicated parking spaces on our service road for Blue Badge holders. The Lowry accepts no responsibility for vehicles parked on our service road.
- Personal assistant tickets: If you need someone to accompany you, signing up to our online register will allow you to book a Personal Assistant ticket for theatre shows at no charge. Online booking: Registering will allow you to book wheelchair seats, Captioned, BSL, Audio Described and Relaxed performances online.
- The theatre provides audio-described performances and an audio-described gallery tour. Headsets can be used upon request. Large Print and brochure guides are available on the website We also feature an innovative streaming solution for assistive listening and audio description from the audio specialists Sennheiser. The free MobileConnect app gives hearing and visually impaired theatregoers access to supplementary audio channels for assistive listening or audio description.
- The theatre provides both captioned and BSL - interpreted performances and a BSL In order to enhance the sound in our theatres through a digital hearing aid, an infra-red Sennheiser system is in operation in all three theatre spaces. A Sennheiser necklace or headset receiver is required to use this system. Hearing Loop also Availiable We feature an innovative streaming solution for assistive listening and audio description from the audio specialists Sennheiser. - The theatre provides relaxed performances. Relaxed performances feature adjusted levels of light and sound, and visitors can leave or re-enter the theatre during the performance. Activities are provided in the designated 'chill-out' areas. Dementia-friendly performances are also provided by the theatre.
