The McMillan Theatre is a friendly, creative & accessible place for everyone. The McMillan Theatre has been part of Bridgwater life since 2015. We are proud to present an eclectic programme of events of theatre, comedy, music and film. Whatever your taste, we've got you covered. We are situated just off Bath Road in Bridgwater, Somerset. We are easy to get to from Bridgwater train station and we also offer plenty of free parking. We are fully accessible with step free access, lifts enabling access to our first circle and accessible toilets throughout. We can't wait to welcome you to The McMillan Theatre!

Access Card notes
Essential Companion or Complimentary Carer Tickets Theatre customers who are not able to attend and use the theatre facilities independently are able to book an Essential Companion or Complimentary Carer ticket for a carer to attend in addition to their own ticket (subject to availability*) An Essential Companion ticket (reduced rate)* may be issued for customers in all seating areas who hold an Access card. A Complimentary Carer (free) ticket* may be issued for customers booking in the Accessible seating area who hold an Access card with +1 Symbol. * Carer/Companion tickets are bookable through the Box Office and subject to availability for each particular show.

Access guidance
- An accessible lift links the foyer, Dance Studio, Exhibition Spaces and the auditorium at First Circle Level. Seating is available in the foyer area (ground floor) and first floor area adjacent to the lift and access to First Circle. There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor and also adjacent to our accessible seats. An in-seat drinks service is available for the interval upon request.
- An accessible lift links the foyer to First Circle where our Accessible Seating is situated in the auditorium. This seating is level access and movable/removable to accommodate wheelchair users. The accessible seating can be booked through the Box Office.
- Level access to the theatre from our on site theatre car park. An accessible lift links the foyer to First Circle. There is an accessible toilet adjacent to our accessible seating in the First Circle and also on the ground floor adjacent to the foyer. An in-seat drinks service is available for the interval upon request.
- There is an accessible toilet facility situated adjacent to our accessible seating which can be accessed from the auditorium.
- If available an Essential Companion ticket (reduced rate) may be issued for customers in all seating areas who hold an Access Card or a complimentary carer (free) ticket may be issued for customers booking in the Accessible seating area who hold an Access card with +1 Symbol.
- The theatre is equipped with a infra-red audio enhancement system. Headsets are available from the Box Office.
- There are three disabled parking space directly outside the theatre, as well as level access parking in our car park.
