Access guidance
- If you have an access card with the difficulty queueing symbol, you are able to queue jump at our Main Entrance and our Piano Bar Entrance. This is not applicable at our Access Entrance, as all patrons who use this entrance may have an additional need to get into the building or their seats quickly.
- We have 4 wheelchair positions in our venue which are street level. Each of these has a single fold-down chair next to it. We also have a wheelchair lift that can accommodate a total weight of 300kg and will take you to our two Access boxes, G and H which can also accommodate one wheelchair and up to 3 additional patrons. Our Piano Bar is wheelchair accessible, however there is not an internal wheelchair accessible route from this bar to the wheelchair positions.
- If you struggle with walking longer distances, please use our Access Entrance which is located on Denmark street and opens 30 mins before any performance. Please note that we do not have a lift in the venue, so the Grand and Upper circles are only accessible via staircase. All seating areas including the stalls have steps throughout the auditorium.
- We have two disabled toilets in our venue. One is located next to the Access Entrance, and the other is at the back of the Piano Bar. Both are level access areas.
- We welcome assistance dogs and are happy to look after them in the offices while you watch the show. If your dog needs to remain with you at all times, then please mention this at the time of booking so that seats with additional space can be arranged.
- We offer free Personal Assistant or Essential Companion tickets, subject to proof of eligibility. This facility is available to customers who require additional support or assistance as a result of a disability or long-term health condition, as defined by the Equality Act (2010). By accepting this ticket your companion, who must be aged over 16, accepts responsibility for providing the additional support you require to access our venues and services, including in an emergency situation or evacuation and must be capable and available to provide this support throughout your visit.
- We can provide large print versions of our brochures on request.
- All ATG venues now have a Wi-Fi based assisted listening system called Mobile Connect. The Mobile Connect amplifies the performance via your personal mobile phone or tablet. Anyone using this system will be able to hear a live feed of the performance on stage (with Audio Description if attending an Audio Described performance) through their headset or, if they wear digital hearing aids through these, from wherever they are sat throughout the auditorium when they are connected to the app.
