- Although Birdland is predominantly flat and tarmac, there are a few areas where the surface has become uneven due to tree roots and our Jurassic Journey section is compacted gravel, which can make wheelchair use tricky in wet conditions. We do provide wheelchairs for Free if required - booking in advance is essential.
- Although we are a 9 acre site, we have a great deal of stop off points within the park to break up the need to move long distances. some of these areas are also covered from the elements.
- We have 2 toilet facilities, the first is located by the Penguins. It includes one disabled toilet which is located nearest to the path. The surrounding area is asphalt. The second facility is located on the far side of the cafe. It includes a disabled toilet as well as a quiet room for baby changing or nursing. Located next to this block is our Changing Places Toilet. A key for the Changing Places Toilet can be requested from Guest Services or from The Nest Cafe.
- We welcome all dogs to the park.
- Essential companions are charged £3.00 for admission.
