Access guidance
- Additional needs entrance Please enter Emerald Park via the member’s entrance on the left-hand side of the admissions building.
- We aim to make our attractions as accessible as possible, but we must also adhere to health and safety restrictions. Check out our Ride Access Guide to see which attractions may be suitable for you.
- "We have a limited number of mobility scooters and wheelchairs available to hire, available on a first come, first served basis. Mobility scooters are hired at a cost of €40 per day and require a €25 deposit which will be returned once the scooter is returned in the same condition. Wheelchairs are also available for hire for a €20 deposit to rent. We advise guests who depend on a mobility scooter to bring their own if possible. Please note that mobility scooters will only be hired to individuals 18 years of age or over."
- Accessible toilets are available throughout Emerald Park. You will find their locations identified on our park map. We have an accessible changing room on site, with an adjustable changing bench and a hoist. For access, please speak to a member of staff when you check in at admissions, who will give you a code to use for the day.
- Assistance dogs must be well-behaved, kept on a lead, and under control at all times. Any disruptive or aggressive behaviour will result in the removal of the dog and its owner from the park premises. Emerald Park reserves the right to ask guests to remove an assistance dog if they believe it poses a direct threat to the health or safety of guests or staff.
- One accompanying carer (aged 18+) is included free of charge with an additional needs ticket. If more than one carer is required, we are happy to provide all carers with free park access if evidence (a headed letter or card) can be presented on arrival.
- Certain rides and attractions can be physically demanding and vigorous and as such we reserve the right to refuse admission should we feel there is a danger to individuals. We have been advised that refusal on the grounds of health and safety does not constitute discrimination. We hope that our guests understand and accept the decisions made in the interests of safety.
