Access guidance
- There are 10 wheelchair spaces available in Stalls at the end of rows G, H, M, N and R, some of which are transfer to seat only. All wheelchair positions must be requested at the time of booking including any additional companion seat/s. If you intend to visit with a motorised mobility wheelchair/scooter, please call our access team prior to booking to check best location. Step free access to the Stalls is available via our access entrance on King Street, please note that our access entrance is on a hill leading down towards the river and the road is cobbled with a slope. On arrival at our access entrance please ring the bell to the right-hand side of the door and a member of staff will be sent to assist you. Entrance – Please be aware the auditorium opens 30 minutes prior to the show, therefore we recommend any wheelchair users, and any other access patrons who require immediate seating, arrive no earlier than this. Accessible Toilets - There are accessible toilet facilities at the rear of the Stalls behind seat R18. This is a step free, accessible, private unisex facility located next to the street-level access entrance door and includes baby change facilities.
- We have a disabled toilet in the stalls, located by the disabled access point.
- Assistance dogs are welcome in our venues. For the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors, ATG Entertainment reserves the right to refuse access, or to revoke access, for a dog that does not comply with the Equality and Human Rights Commission description of an assistance dog: • Highly trained. • Will not wander freely around the premises. • Will sit or lie quietly on the floor next to its owner. • Trained to go to the toilet on command and so are unlikely to foul in a public place. • Could be recognisable by the harness or identifying coat they wear. We believe that assistance dogs are highly trained professional working animals and are unlikely to cause any issues, and that owners must accept responsibility for the behaviour and wellbeing of their assistance dog. The owner should take all reasonable steps to ensure that their assistance dog does not cause physical harm to anyone attending our venues, nor damage property. Assuming compliance with the above, our staff can look after your dog during the performance, or we can arrange suitable seats with space for your dog to remain with you. For the welfare of the animal, other customers and to maintain safe venue evacuation routes, dogs are only allowed within our designated seating areas. In the case of an emergency, if it is safe to do so, we will try to return your dog to you prior to evacuating the building. If this is not possible, staff will bring your dog to the assembly point. In the interest of your dog’s welfare, if our staff are aware that the performance you are hoping to watch is particularly loud or has sudden noises such as gunshots, we will recommend that the dog is looked after by a member of staff during the performance. If you are concerned about content that may be disturbing for yourself or for your assistance dog, please check the show’s web page for content warnings or contact the venue’s Access Champion for advice. We understand and appreciate that other animals may also provide support, especially emotional support. Generally, we will look to offer alternative adjustments to support your visit, such as providing a ticket for an essential companion. For the safety and wellbeing of your animal, it may not be reasonable to permit their entry into our venues, however we will discuss requests on a case-by-case basis.
- A Wi-Fi based system called Mobile Connect is available which amplifies the performance via your personal mobile phone or tablet. Anyone using this system will be able to hear a live feed of the performance on stage (with Audio Description if attending an Audio Described performance) through your own headset or, if you wear digital hearing aids, through from wherever you are sat throughout the auditorium when connected to the app. If you have either an iPhone/iPod/iPad or an android smartphone you can download the FREE Sennheiser Mobile Connect App from the app store prior to arrival. Bring your fully charged device with the latest version of the app installed and your own headphones to use in the venue. Please make sure you bring your phone or tablet fully charged and be aware that your battery could be fully depleted by the end of the show. You may want to bring a “battery bank” with you so that you can re-charge your device if needed. Connect to the Mobile Connect Wi Fi network once inside the auditorium on arrival and make sure that your data is switched off and your phone is on silent and in Airplane mode. Mobile Connect (or HearingAssist) still works in Airplane mode and this ensures any mobile noise will not disturb others.
