Access guidance
- We recognise that some visitors require additional assistance in order to be able to fully enjoy their visit to the Park. There are some who may have difficulties in queuing for long periods of time. This may be due to difficulties in understanding the concept of queuing, having problems with every day social interaction, have a limited capacity to follow instructions or to understand the emotional feelings of others or may become agitated or distressed having to wait for extended periods of time. Our ‘Ride Assist’ service is available on our supervised rides only. For further information visitors should quote ‘Ride Assist’ on paying their admission. They will then be directed into the Acorn Gift Shop where they will be asked for some basic information and provided with wristbands.
- We have two wheelchairs which can be used by our visitors for their day out. It is best to ring before you come and book this in advance.
