The Tierpark Hagenbeck is a zoo in Stellingen, Hamburg, Germany. The collection began in 1863 with animals that belonged to Carl Hagenbeck Sr., a fishmonger who became an amateur animal collector. The park itself was founded by Carl Hagenbeck Jr. in 1907

Access guidance
- The Hagenbeck Zoo and Tropical Aquarium offer visitors with disabilities an exciting and eventful stay with animals, park and culture. The visitor paths throughout the zoo are suitable for wheelchairs and walkers. With the exception of the tunnel walk, the tour of the tropical aquarium is suitable for wheelchair users. The elevators for overcoming levels are signposted. There are designated disabled parking spaces at both zoo entrances. Main entrance Lokstedter Grenzstraße, parking area: five disabled parking spaces and ten combined disabled and family parking spaces. Gazellenkamp entrance (open in the summer season): five parking spaces.
- There are five designated disabled-accessible toilet facilities throughout the park, each with one disabled toilet. Locations: Tour No. 1/Main entrance, accessible from both sides Tour No. 43/Flamingo Lodge, accessible on the right Tour No. 40/Toilet in the Arctic Ocean, accessible from both sides Tour No. 56/Restaurant at the playground, accessible on the right Tour No. 70/Orang-Utan House, accessible from both sides There are two wheelchair accessible toilet facilities in the Tropical Aquarium: on the left in the entrance area and near the Makalali Lodge at the end of the tour.
- Visitors who require a service dog are allowed to bring the dog with them on their visit to Hagenbeck. The prerequisite is the presentation of the service dog certificate. Important: The tropical aquarium, all animal houses and stables, the petting zoo, the seabird aviary in the Arctic Ocean and the Antarctic penguins may not be visited with the service dog.
- Visitors with disabilities pay the regular daily admission price. However, if the disabled person's pass states "B" or "H", an accompanying person will receive free admission.
