Access Card notes
You can book your essential companion ticket online and present your Access Card/Digital Access Pass details to our admissions team upon arrival. You can just turn up with your details at the door however we would strongly recommend booking online via our website (you can do this on the same day as your visit if you prefer) to guarantee your entry and avoid disappointment, especially during busier periods. You will need to enter your card ID at checkout.
Nimbus operates the venues Access Registration Scheme on their behalf. The venue or event has their own Digital Access Pass. *The information in this listing is submitted by the provider*.

Access guidance
- We do our absolute best to keep queue time down across the site. We have reduced and in some cases completely removed queue time upon arrival by introducing arrival timeslots and a speedy QR scan entry system. We have added an extra till at our ice cream shack and are also introducing a secondary food and drink outlet this year.
- We have a large indoor seating area in our soft play and cafe building, there is an additional seating area in the next barn just outside the gift shop and plenty of seating in our outdoor play area. We have taken on customer feedback and as well as adding a gazebo for more sheltered seating in our outdoor area, we are currently adding more seating closer to various outdoor attractions rather than only in the one picnic area. If you require a seat in a certain area where there doesn't seem to be one, please do ask a member of staff. We have individual chairs available on request, the only reason they don't stay out all year is to stop them getting damaged or blown away!
- During the Summer holidays especially and on good weather days we can get quite busy so please do feel free to contact us to ask which days are likely to be quieter. We obviously cannot guarantee this but may be able to make an educated guess or look at our booking numbers for certain dates at the time of contact. We have plenty of indoor and outdoor space which allows people to spread out across the site but we may suggest joining the 3rd or 4th tractor ride rather than the 1st or joining the meet the pets session in the final half hour rather than the first half hour for example. We'll always do our best to help and guide as much as possible so please do get in touch if you're unsure.
- Our site is wheelchair accessible with the majority being smooth, level ground, either tarmac or concrete. There is a ramp down to the outdoor play area but again this is smooth. In the outdoor play area there are some grass areas which may get a little muddy after consistent bad weather but gravel footpaths are also in place. During the maze season, the mini maze is wheelchair accessible however please take into account the weather conditions around your visit as this could get especially wet and muddy after several days of heavy rain. The main maze unfortunately is not accessible at this time due to having large bridges with steep metal steps. The wooden panel maze is not wheelchair accessible either due to having several sets of steps and bridges.
- We have several designated parking bays right outside our entrance and exit points. Whilst our activities are spread across the site, they are fairly close together and you should never be far from a seating area. Outside of designated seating areas, extra chairs are always available on request, just ask a member of staff. There is no seating within the maize mazes, the mini one can take on average 20 minutes to complete whilst the large one can take 90 minutes or more.
- Our toilets are currently all in one area of the site but these sit in between our two main buildings so are close to all of the animal barns and animal activities, the panel maze, indoor go-karts/bouncy castle area, the gift shop and the cafe/soft play building. There are no toilets in the carpark, the outdoor play area, within the maize mazes or on the tractor ride. Our main toilet building consists of a men's block (1 cubicle plus several urinals), a women's block (4 cubicles) and a single toilet with wheelchair access. We now also have an additional 4 individual unisex cubicles just a few metres away from the main toilets.
- Registered assistance dogs are of course very welcome and they are the only dogs we allow on site. We kindly suggest that assistance dogs are clearly vested if possible however this is not essential, any form of lead slip, harness, badge etc is acceptable we just like to make it as clear as possible to our other visitors that your dog is in fact a genuine assistance dog and this can also help communicate to other visitors that your dog shouldn't be disturbed for example.
- If you have a +1 or +2 symbol on your card/pass, you can select the 'Essential Companion' ticket at our online checkout free of charge. You will need to enter your card ID before checkout is complete and this will need to be validated by a staff member using Nimbus' online checker when you arrive on site. Failure to validate this need will require full payment to be made at the door. You do not need to pre-book your essential companion ticket however we would strongly suggest doing so, especially during busier periods.
- We have clear signage around the site, site leaflets and TV screens. We are in the process of making large print, high contrast leaflets and menus etc available. For now, please ask a member of staff if you need any additional help.
