Overview
Founded in 1883, Stockport County are one of the country’s longest established football clubs. Initially formed as Heaton Norris Rovers, the Club officially became Stockport County in 1890 after the County Borough of Stockport and have been based at Edgeley Park since 1902. The team currently competes in Sky Bet League One, the third tier of the English Football League, after winning the 2023–24 Sky Bet League Two title.

Access guidance
- The Cheadle End For disabled access please use the lift in the main Club Reception area, the disabled toilet is next to the disabled bay. The wheelchair platform has 10 spaces. Row A has step free access. The Danny Bergara Stand For disabled access, please use gate 3, wheelchair bays can we found directly in front of Block F and the disabled toilet is located next to the wheelchair bay. Both gate 3 and row A have step free access.
- With any disabled match ticket purchase, a complimentary Personal Assistant ticket will be issued if required, in line with our terms and conditions which states you must you must be in receipt of one of the following: • Disability Living Allowance (DLA) at the medium to high rate; • Personal Independence Payment (PIP) at the standard or enhanced rate; • Certificate of Visual Impairment; • Attendance Allowance.
