The Ark Open Farm is a farm-based visitor attraction situated between Newtownards and Bangor in Northern Ireland. We have a wide variety of animals and activities for all the family making this a day out to remember.

Access guidance
- During busy times, especially at the start of each timeslot, there may be queues at the entrance. Queues for individual activities are rare, and there are plenty of picnic benches throughout the farm.
- The farm is situated on a hill however the paths are well maintained and suitable for wheelchairs and prams. The main farm yard is tarmac / concrete and entrances to all buildings from here, including the cafe and toilets is either level or via a small ramp.
- The farm has a network of over 2km of paths. There is an accessible tractor ride that can give lifts to and from the Fairytale Forest and back to the farm yard.
- There is an accessible toilet in the main toilet block in the farm yard and there is another accessible toilet in the Fairytale Forest at the other end of the farm.
- We regret that no dogs are allowed on site at the farm, with the exception of assistance dogs, this is to ensure the safety and welfare of our animals.
- We currently offer a 'Carer' ticket at a reduced rate for anyone accompanying an adult or child ticket in a care capacity.
- There is a printed map and information leaflet given at the entrance. A digital version of this information is available on our website. Animal enclosures have printed information.
