Access guidance
- For patrons attending The Garage or G2, we have booths that may be reserved by people who have difficulty standing. The Attic does not have guaranteed seating and is best to contact the venue prior to make arrangements. Please note, the view may be restricted due to standing patrons. If there is a queue you can wait at the front of it or at the opposite side of the doorway from the main queue. If you require a level access we can offer a early entry via a separate rear access door prior to the General access
- The Garage has a wheelchair accessible door at the rear of our venue on Renfrew Street, located directly across from McLay's Guest House and adjacent to Single-End Café. This door allows customers direct access into The Garage. Due to noise restrictions we can only open the door before and after the gig or risk upsetting our neighbors. If you would like arrange access via Renfrew Street, please contact out team. G2 is a wheelchair accessible venue via the G2 entrance. Customers should be dropped off outside Lord of Fries on Sauchiehall Street and make their way up our lane, indicated with The Garage sign G2 painted on the road. We apologies that The Attic is not wheelchair accessible venue as it is located on the top floor.
- There are a couple of seats in the hallway on route to The Garage and G2 should you need a break at any point on the way to your seating if requested. We also have a rear stage door for shows held in The Garage (Main Room) that avoids stairs should that be a requirement for yourself to lessen the distance.
- There are accessible toilets in our G2 and Main Hall Rooms which are opened by a steward when required in order to keep them as clean as possible for everyone.
- Assistance dogs are welcome at The Garage, but please be aware that noise levels are high. Please notify us if an assistance dog will be accompanying you to ensure that we have a water bowl available. We do not take responsibility for any assistance dogs and ask that the dog remains with the owner. If your assistance dog shows signs of distress during shows due to the high noise levels the security may ask you to come down to a quieter room for a bit to allow the dog to relax or leave the venue in cases of extreme distress.
- Access Cards with +1 accepted as proof for a free companion ticket.
- MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS Please notify us ahead of arrival of any medical items you require to prevent any security related concerns. Please ensure that prescription medication is in its original packaging. HIDDEN DISABILITIES We recognize the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower. Customers with Additional Needs/Hidden Disabilities can also wear a lanyard to make our staff aware of hidden disabilities. DAYTIME VISITS To minimize challenges, we welcome daytime visits to help guests familiarize their surroundings. If a quiet place is required to help a guest unwind, please notify a steward who will take you to our First Aid room, located on the ground floor. SENSORY BAGS We can also offer sensory bags, which can be borrowed for the event, free of charge. These contain ear defenders/ earplugs, a stress ball. We do have a limited supply so recommend reserving prior to the event.
