DERBY, UK - The Nimbus Social Impact Fund (NSIF) has officially awarded its inaugural grant of £50,000 to disability awareness and advocacy organisation Able2UK. The landmark presentation took place at a special live performance by Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi, organized to celebrate and support unpaid carers across the UK.

Powered by the commercial success of Nimbus Disability’s flagship Access Card scheme, the newly formed NSIF formalises the reinvestment of company surpluses into high-impact initiatives, User-Led Organisations (ULOs), and accessibility projects. This £50,000 donation marks the fund’s first formal disbursement.

The presentation featured an extra touch of star power when Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg, a longtime supporter of Able2UK’s live music accessibility initiatives, dialed in via video call during the event to personally thank Lewis Capaldi for supporting unpaid carers and championing disability inclusion.
