Unpaid Carers saved the Government “£530 million” per day during the Covid-19 pandemic last year. (Carers UK)
Carers’ Rights Day is a day in which organisations come together to help raise awareness of the needs of carers and ensure that all carers are aware of their rights. It is also important for organisations to let carers know where to get help and support.

The Carer Card

The Carer Card serves to recognise your role as an unpaid carer and also has a space for urgent contact information.
During the Covid-19 lockdown, we saw a lot of people apply for a Carer Card to show that they were travelling for a legitimate reason or shopping on someone else’s behalf.
