Cleen – Washroom review app

Another great scheme improving facilities for disabled people, the Cleen app, allows the public to review and rate toilets and facilities at thousands of venues across the UK.

Our team met with BBC Radio Derby to review the app and try it out with the local toilets in Derby Bus Station, our verdict was they were not quite up to scratch.0

Toilets are often overlooked by a lot of businesses yet it’s one of the main points of access for many disabled people; if a venue isn’t looking after their facilities, how do you know they care about other aspects of their business.

The app works via a simple interface with star ratings and allows users to submit comments, select from easy to recognise symbols for things like bad odours, lack of pull cords, broken lights and much more and will be extremely useful for disabled people visiting new places before they arrive.

We are proud to be involved with the Cleen App and we hope to continue working with organisations like this to improve access and facilities at venues across the UK.
