Spooky activities across the UK in this October’s news update!


That time of year is fast approaching with Halloween and Bonfire night just around the corner.

No doubt many of you have set up plans for ghoulish goings on at what is probably one of our favourite times of the year at the Access Card office, our halloween costumes are looking on point and we have selected a few of the amazing experiences lined up for cardholders happening across the UK this Autumn.

Hello World at Genting Arena – Birmingham:

YouTube fanatics won’t want to miss out on seeing some of the biggest names on social media appearing live at the Genting Arena on the 28th-29th October at Hello World!

Appearing across the two day event will be many familiar faces including Zoella, KSI, Jake Mitchell, JanaVlogs, Katie Pix, LookingforLewys and many, many more., guests can enter HelloWorld and take a stroll down Main Street, listen to live music, learn a fresh new dance routine, watch an epic live comedy show and get the chance to meet your favourite YouTube stars.


Sandcastle Water Park – Blackpool:

Halloween comes to Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle Water Park this autumn with live music, vampires and zombies scaring around park, Horror Maze, fire breathers, stilt walkers, pumpkin carving, creepy crawlies and a fancy dress competition. Prepare to be scared!

Ghostbusters can take part in a guided tour and ghost hunt of the iconic Nottingham jail, with spooky happenings throughout the building including the Criminal Court Room which has a plethora of activity, such as spirit lights and shadows and the caves hidden underneath hold even more strange experiences with shrieks, lights and poltergeist activity, scary stuff!

Knebworth House Annual Pumpkin Trail – Knebworth:

Get in the spirit for the pumpkin activities and trail around the gardens with lots of spooky fun and games for children by coming in Halloween fancy dress (yes, adults too!). Each day there will be a competition which is judged at 3pm by the Garden Terrace Tea Room.

This October half term you can enjoy the Pumpkin Trail & Treats, which run from 12:00 noon to 4:00pm each day with last admission at 2pm to allow time to do the Trail.

Finally for those looking to unwind from all the frightful events over the Halloween period, the Mind Body and Spirit Wellbeing festival returns to the NEC.

This 3 day festival celebration of self-exploration, self-expression, music, yoga, meditation and life changing workshops will be like nothing seen at the N.E.C before.

This Festival will feature some of the most inspirational, motivational speakers, musicians, artists and performers from across the globe.
