Welcome to Edinburgh Zoo

We’re pleased to welcome Edinburgh Zoo to the full roster of venues committed to meeting the access requirements of Access Card Holders

The Zoo, a part of the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, is one of the first venues to reopen their doors following the COVID Lockdown and are ready to welcome visitors back, including disabled visitors who are able to enjoy an accessible and enjoyable day out.

“Jonathon Dodds, Duty Manager at Edinburgh Zoo, said: “At the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, we are committed to improving accessibility at both Edinburgh Zoo and Highland Wildlife Park, as well as providing training opportunities for our staff to develop a greater awareness and understanding of the different needs and abilities of our visitors.

“Welcoming Access Card means we can have a greater scope to offer more personalised support and assistance”

A breakdown of the Zoo’s Accessibility can be found on our Access Card listing here https://www.accesscard.org.uk/providers/edinburgh-zoo/ to give you all the information you need for a great day out.
