On Wednesday 10th July we travelled to London to formally launch the CredAbility programme. We had interested parties from all across the country in attendance and we heard speeches from both CredAble Providers and from disabled customers who use their services. It was really important for us to get the message of CredAbility heard loud and clear and we believe we did that.
Very soon we hope that you as customers will start seeing the CredAbility and Verified Accessible logos in various places around the country as more and more organisations get on board and become accredited. Seeing the logo will take the wonder out of whether or not a service or a building is accessible and how far that business will go to ensure their commitment to their disabled customers.
If you happen to use the services of a CredAble Provider or you have used a Verified Accessible building then please do get in touch and let us know how your experience has been!
We also gave an award to the newly refurbished Derby City Council house for its commitment to accessibility!
