Access guidance
- We have a small bench seat just inside the entrance to the store where you can sit while waiting to be served. Please advise our friendly staff if this is not available or if you require additional seating away from crowds.
- Our Riccarton store is easily accessible with a wide front store entrance. The closest mall entrance to our store is the one off Riccarton Road. If you are having difficulty moving within the store, please wave at one of our friendly staff to come and assist you.
- The nearest parking locations to the store are at the mall entrance off Riccarton Road. It is less than 50m to the store from the disabled parking slots. If additional support is required, i.e. picking up/delivering phone to/ from your car, this can be arranged by calling the store on (03) 961 1981.
- Unfortunately, our location within Westfield Riccarton mall means that the mall toilets are around 100m away. McDonald's is a little closer but may not be close enough if you are in a hurry. The good news is that our Hornby shop is much closer to the toilets so please consider that as an alternative. We are happy to direct you to the toilets in the Riccarton mall for those not in a hurry, and our staff can assist with walking you to the toilet. If there is a need for evacuation, our staff will provide clear instructions if/when there is a need.
- Assistance dogs are welcome in the store, and we will provide a water bowl if required.
- We will accommodate you if you bring along a support person to assist you and ensure they are engaged in the process with you. If you are the person acting on the cardholder's behalf, we will request to see the documentation for power of attorney. Please make sure you bring this with you if you need to set up anything on behalf of the cardholder.
- We will help guide you descriptively and offer additional information and support to ensure things are understood and clear.
- We will provide clear visual information and take our time to ensure we understand what help you need. We will make sure the information is clearly communicated on paper where required. We are happy to arrange for you to use the NZ Relay Service to conduct business with us.

We have access to trained first aiders in all of our stores should a medical event occur.
