"Welcome to bluedot 2019, celebrating fifty years since the Moon Landings this July with a four-day spectacular combining music, science, cosmic culture and more beneath the Lovell Telescope. We have revealed our first wave of headliners – featuring Lovell Stage performances from Kraftwerk 3-D, New Order and Hot Chip, ground-breaking sets from the Grammy-nominated likes of Jon Hopkins and Tokimonsta, science and culture talks from Liz Bonnin, Helen Pankhurst, Jim Al-Khalili and Tom Shakespeare, and much more, including the full moon landings celebration line up, still to be announced."

Access guidance
- A viewing platform with a stewarded accessible toilet is located near the stage in the Main Arena. In order to gain access to the viewing platform, you need a viewing platform wristband. This also comes with a lanyard that can be worn by a personal assistant or companion so that they can join you on the platform. In addition, the site is divided into three areas. The first area, located in Jodrell Bank grounds, features pathways. The second area, the Main Area, is a grass field. The third area, located in the arboretum and gardens that has a hard standing main path. Some activity will only be accessed via grass.
- There is an accessible carpark located close to the Accessible Campsite. Visitors will be able to park near their tent, but not next to it. The distance between the Accessible Car Park and Campsite and the Main Arena entrance is approximately 800 metres. The Main Arena is approximately 500 metres from the main entrance gate to the furthest perimeter edge.
- There are supervised and non - supervised accessible toilets in the Main Arena. A wristband must be worn to use the accessible toilet on the viewing platform. There are also accessible toilets in the Accessible Campsite.
- Assistance dogs are welcome at the venue and there will be an area provided for toileting and drinking.
- An access requirement form will need to be completed in order to receive a free companion ticket. The Access Card is accepted as proof of entitlement to a free companion ticket.
- Hearing loops have been installed in the main entrance box office and the access reception, which is located in the access campsite. The venue is also looking into having British Sign Language interpreters on site.
- There will be warning signs around the Main Arena if strobe lighting will be used during a performance. In addition, there will be a First Aid tent located in the Main Arena and campsite services. There will also be Medics and First Aiders on patrol around the event. If you would like to store your medication, please let the venue know in advance. As well as this, there is an Accessible Campsite, which features: a 24-hour charging point for power chair batteries, accessible showers and toilets, fresh water points, waste disposal points and electrical points for charging wheelchairs and scooters. Due to limited numbers, live-in vehicle pitches will only be available on a first - come - first - served basis.
