Wheelchair Access

Wheelchair access
Boardmasters is located on Trebelsue Farm, just off the stunning coastline of Cornwall and overlooking the picturesque Watergate Bay. While beautiful, the terrain contains a lot of grassland and hilly areas which when the Cornish rain comes, can make access around the site difficult. At the Main Stage we have a viewing platform with a stewarded and accessible toilet located near the platform. In order to gain access to the viewing platform, you must apply for a Viewing Platform (VP) pass, which is to be requested when filling out the Access Requirements Form. This platform is reserved solely for the use of permanently disabled customers and their PA and unfortunately not for those with broken legs, recent injuries and/ or pregnancies. They are run on a first come first serve basis and at times will become full.

*We are working on getting viewing platforms at other stages, before the event you will be informed which stages have viewing platforms.

Other Notes

Other Notes
We endeavour to be a festival that everyone can enjoy, and to provide an event site which is as accessible as possible to everyone. The use of disabled access facilities is reserved solely for the use of permanently disabled customers and unfortunately not for those with broken legs, recent injuries and/ or pregnancies. Accessible showers will be available in the accessible campsite (FOC). Accessible information points are located in the main arena and Accessible campsite. We will publish site maps detailing medical service stations and first aid points before the event. You will be notified of this through our newsletter which you can sign up to at the bottom of this page. These will be located in both the Main Arena and Campsite. Please familiarise yourself with these locations beforehand. The accessible campsite is dedicated to deaf and disabled guests with it being one of the closet campsites to the main area and having its own car park, campervan area beside the campsite and designated entrance into the campsite meaning you don’t have to queue up at the main entrance and has its own car park, campervan field and entrance along with a dedicated team of stewards to make sure you have the best festival experience.

If being dropped off or coming by coach, you will be dropped off at blue gate and will have a short walk to the accessible campsite.
