Access Card notes
Access Card holders with a +1 symbol are entitled to a free carer/companion ticket when booking to see a show. We have dedicated spaces for wheelchair users and step free access seats. We also have a hearing loop and can provide information in alternative formats for customers who are visually impaired. Access guidance
- When we open the auditorium, we will endeavour to seat customers with access needs first. Our team are also trained to ensure that customers who need additional support are given priority and assisted as needed when being seated. We offer customers the opportunity to pre-order their drinks from the bar ahead of their visit to avoid the need to queue at the interval.
- Ramp access at the front of the building, level access throughout the foyer areas and wheelchair accessible spaces in the auditorium. We also have an accessible toilet in the main entrance area.
- We have a drop off point at the front of the building for those who cannot manage the short walk to the car park behind the venue. We also have 4 rows of step free access seating in the auditorium to allow level access for customers who require this.
- We have an accessible toilet next to the main entrance. We have signage in place explaining that not all needs are visible. All customers who require these facilities are welcome to use them, there is no key or code required.
- Assistance dogs are welcome. Due to the nature of some shows, the volume may be uncomfortable for some service dogs so this should be considered where appropriate. There is a suitable toileting area at the front of the venue to the left of the front door and water can be provided.
- Essential companions are offered a free ticket when accompanying a customer who carries and Access Card with the +1 symbol.
- Alternative formats or large print or audio can be provided on request.
- Our team are able to communicate via written or digital communications if necessary. We provide integrated BSL performances for our pantomime and have a hearing loop within the venue for customers who require this.
