Glastonbury Abbey

Overview

Glastonbury Abbey is a registered charity, tourism destination and scheduled monument in the heart of the town of Glastonbury, Somerset. It is open 364 days per year and features the ruins of the medieval abbey, an intact medieval kitchen, 36 acres of grounds, seasonal activities and special events. The abbey hosts a Medieval Fayre in April each year and live music events the Extravaganza and Night at the Abbey in August.

If you require a carer or personal assistant to visit the abbey we offer a carer / PA ticket free of charge. This offer is made to make the abbey available and accessible to those who would not otherwise be able to visit. To attend an event with a carer or PA the details for the application process will be posted to the event page on our website.
