Access guidance
- There is wheelchair access throughout the museum, including the Ticket Desk. There are lifts to all floors, as well as ramps in some areas. Not all of the vehicles are accessible in the museum due to the history of the collection.
- Blue badge parking spaces are available, but on a first come first served basis. The Depot at Acton is close to Acton Town Underground station and there is a lift to the first floor as well as ramps and wheelchair platforms.
- There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor as well as on the ground floor of the Museum Depot.
- Assistance dogs are welcome at the London Transport Museum and water bowls are available upon request.
- Large print Highlights Tours and magnifiers are both available at the museum. These can be booked through the Ticket Desk and the Information Desk.
- Induction loops have been installed at the Ticket Desk, Cloakroom, Library and Information Desk. The audio visual exhibits are either subtitled or fitted with induction loops.
