Shambino

Overview
"What a wild ride the past 18 months have been, and continue to be. Now the powers that be have spoken, whilst restrictions will be in place for a few weeks longer than expected, it's looking like we'll be out of the socially distanced woods (and into The Enchanted Woods) in good time for the August Bank Holiday… meaning we can finally fill you lot in on what that mysterious Save The Date was all about… Whilst a full-scale Shambala wasn't possible for us again this year, we are pulling out all the stops to bring you a dinky and gorgeous distillation of all that makes Shambala magic, over the August Bank Holiday weekend (26-29th August 2021)."

Access guidance
- There are seats available around site and in all of the venues.
- Most of the main site is flat and easily accessible in good weather. In wet weather some areas do get muddy. We provide trackway over the worst areas but in previous years people have had problems with some wheelchairs (particularly electric chairs) over the whole site. We do our best to keep everyone moving, but do be aware that this is an open air event in a grassy field and we cannot guarantee the ground conditions. We keep an information board in the ACA with details of any particularly muddy areas as soon as we know about them. For more information, please visit our website. There is a viewing platform at the festival and accessible viewing areas are also available. The venue has lowered bars available. There is an accessibility aid charging point. An accessible camping area is also available. For more information, please visit our website.
- There is a personalised shuttle service from taxi/bus drop off point to campsite. You can bring your car into the campsite to unload, with parking spaces a short distance away. For more information, please visit our website.
- There are accessible toilets. There is a RADAR key hire scheme. A wheelchair accessible shower is also available.
- Access Cards with '+1' symbol accepted as proof for a free essential companion ticket. If you are over 18 this ticket can be claimed by calling 0121 472 6688 or emailing info@theticketsellers.co.uk PA Tickets are also available for those with under 18's who require more than one carer. Please contact the accessibility team to discuss eligibility on accessibility@shambalafestival.org.
- We have large print versions of the site map and timetable available at the ACA and the Info Point.
- There is a BSL interpreter booking service and BSL interpreted performances are available. We have a BSL interpreter available on call during the festival. Let us know in advance by filling in the accessibility form or by emailing accessibility@shambalafestival.org if you require this service. We will also have some signed performances.
- There is cold storage for medicine. For more information, please visit our website.
