Access guidance
- We have a separate Box Office that is away from the main queuing area with lowered counter. By registering you can use this facility and tne of our Access Team will be there to meet and greet you.
- We have two viewing platforms on the two main stages, (once we move to a new site for 2021 we will have more). Most stalls and traders are ground level. As there are many different stages are closely situated together, there can be issues for wheelchair users moving through the crowds, but no more than any other green field festival site. We do offer limited accessible parking spaces but do advise customers with mobility issues to use the Shell Garage near the site entrance as a drop off as the accessible car park is based a considerable distance and is at the bottom of a long slow incline. Again, once we move to a new site for 2021 these issues will be alleviated.
- The site itself is mostly flat and relatively small. There is a variety of different types of seating scattered across the festival so people can sit/pause when needed.
- We have 10 accessible toilets across the whole festival. One is positioned by the accessible box office for those when they first arrive, two on the main viewing platform and one on the second viewing platform. There is also one situated at the front of all the main toilet blocks. These are all locked with a coded padlock so that registered access customers can only gain entry. In addition, we have a Mobiloo facility onsite for customers with high dependency needs so they can change in privacy and return to the festival.
- We are happy to accommodate assistant dogs onsite and can provide toilet areas and a water bowl when required.
- We have a free Personal Assistant ticket scheme in place. For more info see the application form on the webpage for details on types of appropriate evidence that you will need to submit in order to qualify.
- Alternative formats can be provided upon request.
- We will always try to do our best to meet our customers' needs. As we are a predominantly DJ based festival we have not had the need for BSL interpretation so far, however, if we did have a request then we would do our best to put an appropriate provision in place.
