Standing and Queueing
The TramShed is generally a standing only venue. Some shows are seated but this will be mentioned when purchasing tickets.
Wheelchair Access
The TramShed have a free flow general admission capacity, which ranges depending on the event and it’s layout. The TramShed venue is fully accessible, however the main room within the TramShed has a mezzanine with views facing the main stage. Opening of this is dependant on expected attendance and is only accessible via stairs. Views of the stage may be restricted at the rear of the TramShed during busy events, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
Tramshed is wheelchair friendly and accessible with a lift, disabled toilets and adequate ground level parking. The balcony affords wheelchair users and those with mobility issues unobstructed views and guide dogs are welcome with prior arrangement.

Essential Companions
We do offer one free carers pass per ticket holder, this can be booked directly with the venue enquiries@tramshedcardiff.com. Carer ticket holders should be able to meet the needs and assist the person they are accompanying in the event of an emergency.

For all access enquiries contact the venue directly. Should you require any items for medical reasons please make this known to the security personnel on the front door who will contact the duty manager & medical personnel to discuss this in private.
Please be aware that there will be high sound levels during shows and patrons may be subject to continuous sound levels that may cause potential damage to hearing. Earplugs are available on the bar should they be required.
We discourage bringing medication to either of the venues; however we do understand that for some people this is a necessity. Therefore should a person attend a show with prescription drugs the following applies:
A sealed package of prescribed medication of a small quantity is permitted providing that the persons name is on the label. A prescription for the medication if possible should be brought with you if possible.
Any person with items that are deemed unidentifiable / not in the original packaging or of a large quantity will be asked to speak with the medics on the night who will assess the situation and the items may be removed until after the show and held in the medical room where they can be accessed if required.
Please be aware that security or the medic may request evidence on entry. You may also be requested to speak with the duty manager.
A person who intends to bring into a venue medical sharps will be asked to discuss their usage with the duty manager & the venues medical staff, in a private area, to ensure that their condition requires immediate access to these items and to also ensure the customer is aware of how to locate and access an area whereby they can administer the required treatment without any concern.
Some shows will contain strobe lighting or smoke effects. Should you have any concerns please contact the venue prior to arrival or speak to a member of staff on the night.
