Built in 1857, the building's historic features have been carefully preserved, with treasures from all around the world cramming its original glass cabinets. Warrington Museum & Art Gallery is home to thousands of fascinating exhibits, from beautiful works of art, an Ancient Egyptian mummy – and even our very own dinosaur! In addition to the permanent displays, the museum also provides an award-winning programme of events and temporary exhibitions, in addition to free family-friendly craft activities."

- Disabled parking is available outside the museum on Museum Street. Visitors can also use the car park at Pyramid Arts Centre (two minutes' walk along Museum Street), and there are a number of pay and display car parks in the area, as well as a large multi-storey car park at Golden Square shopping centre, less than five minutes' walk from the museum.
