All ATG Venues operate an internal registration scheme for disabled patrons. When registering patrons are required to provide proof of disability and the Access Card is accepted as need

Wheelchair Access

Wheelchair access
There are 8 wheelchair spaces available in Stalls. Access to Stalls is available via the easy access entrance on Station Street.

Access to Dress Circle and Grand Upper Circle is via stairs.

There is no lift access at the theatre.

Assistance Dogs

Assistance Dogs
Guide, hearing and other working dogs are welcome in all parts of the theatre. If you wish to bring your guide or hearing dog to the theatre, please advise the Box Office when booking your tickets. Your dog is welcome to sit with you in the auditorium however please note that some shows include special effects, e.g. strobe lighting, smoke, pyrotechnics and loud bangs. Alternatively we can organise for a member of staff to care for your dog during the performance and to provide them with some drinking water.

The New Alexandra Theatre offers state-of-the-art Sennheiser infra-red listening systems.

Induction Loop Necklace
Suitable for persons wearing a hearing aid, the induction loop necklace is worn around the neck. Whilst wearing the necklace, switch your hearing aid to the 'T' setting and the sound is amplified. The necklace has an adjustable volume control.

Headset
This device amplifies sound through ear-pieces similar to regular headphones. Suitable for persons without a hearing aid.

To access the infrared system please request receiving equipment from Box Office on the day of the show. We do ask that these be returned after the show to a member of our Front of House staff.
