Standing and Queueing
Access to the festival campsite is via gate entrance, you should not need to queue, there may be small queues into the arena at busy times but security are available to assist if you have requirements that mean you cannot queue.
Wheelchair Access
There is limited use of trackway in some areas outside the arena but it is not possible to create hard roadways inside the main arena. A variety of materials may be used as temporary ground cover, in poor weather, including woodchip, stone chippings and straw, please be aware that the festival usually has rain, which could make wheelchair access more difficult as due to the arena being on a large field mud and grass can become very boggy.
Short Distances
There is a medium distance (200 mtr.) walk from the arena campsite to the disabled camping area, walking distances also vary from stage to stage viewing platforms also, it is advised that cardholders make accomodations due to this, as much as the festival provides a simple map, distances may vary.
Access To Toilets
Wheelchair accessible unisex showers and toilets are available in the disabled campsite, further portaloos are available next to viewing platforms, wristbands are given for those with continence needs.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs are allowed but please contact the festival directly to request this.
Essential Companions
Disabled customers granted access to viewing platforms may be accompanied by one PA/Carer. In extremely busy periods, we may ask your PA/Carer to move to the back of the platform if you do not need direct one-to-one support. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and do not have to leave their parents if the platform becomes full, Cardholders with the +1 symbol will be able to get a ticket for PA/Companion free of charge.
Accessing Visual Information
Performances are screened via large screens on the main stage and second stage, however smaller tents would require guests to find a viewing space in the crowd, this may vary depending on crowd size.
Accessing Audible Information
BSL intrepretation is available for acts on the main stage, more information to come soon.
Other Notes
The disabled campsite has facilities for those who need medication storage, charging points are also available for scooters and wheelchairs, two additional guests are allowed into the site with your party with a valid wristband, medical staff and paramedics are also available around the arena, the disabled campstie also has a high dependancy changing unit available also.
